Head PGA Professional Terry Stiltner and the Men's Golf Association Board released the 2012 Bartlett Men's Golf Association schedule. The season kicks off with a two-man better ball event Thursday, April 19th, and ends with the scratch steeple chase Saturday, October 6th. The schedule includes monthly guest days in which invited guests may play in MGA events, the traditional Memorial Day, Fourth of July, and Labor Day better ball tournaments, the Western New York PGA pro-am (June 11th), and the Bartlett Member-Guest tournament July 6th and 7th. |

We will play winter rules with closest to pin on holes #3 and 5 and closest to the pin second shot on 9. The termperature will be in the 70's, so it is a great day to open the golf season. |

Bartlett Country Club holds its annual Seafood Extravaganza on Saturday, February 25th. This year's theme is Bartlett Country Club on Gilligan's Island, and prizes will be awarded for the members best dressed in the spirit of the theme.
The buffet includes sushi rolls, grilled mahi mahi, raw clams and oysters in addition to traditional favorites such as seafood gumbo and New England clam chowder. The event will start at 6:00 p.m., and the $65.00 per person price includes an open bar, dinner, tax and gratuity, and live music by R.J. Pauley. Anyone in costume will receive a $5.00 discount. The quality of the dinner courses and the dinner’s presentation were on a par with the best restaurants in Buffalo (Oliver’s, Sinatra’s), New Orleans (Tujaque’s), and New York City that my wife and I have visited. Bartlett has a true gem in Executive Chef Tim Brushingham, and the event allowed him to demonstrate his broad array of culinary skills. |
