The Russell Houghton Memorial Pro/Am golf Tournament is held for the benefit of the Center for Family Unity, an Exchange Club sposored center for the prevention of child abuse.

Mr. Houghton, an Olean businessman who founded Conap, Inc. (now Cytec insustries Inc.) and Hysol Corporation (now Henkel Loctite), which collectively employ over 400 people in the Olean area, was a recognized leader in the plastics industry, a former president of the Bartlett Country Club, and an avid golfer. We are pleased and honored that his family has allowed his name to be associated with this tournament and thank them for their contribution to its success in this special way.

The Olean Exchange Club would like to extend it deepest appreciation to our sponsors for their generous support; to the Bartlett Country Club, its staff and pro, Terry Stiltner for their efforts in making this day a success; to the PGA professionals without whom the tournament wold not exist; and to the Bartlett members for their participation and support.
