Golf Pro Search Committee FormedMonday, 9/28/2009The Bartlett Board of Trustees announced September 25th the formation of a search committee to find a new Golf Pro for the Club. The committee will be headed by two members, Steve Campbell and John Camus.

The search became necessary after the Executive Committee of the Board and current PGA Professional Danny Kaye failed to reach an agreement regarding Danny's continued employment through the end of the 2010 golf season.

Danny Kaye has served as the PGA Professional at Bartlett for the past decade. He has accomplished many improvements to the Bartlett golf course, including irrigation management, establishing blue and white tees, designing and supervising the building of new red tees, and most recently the introduction of gold tees.

In annoucing the Golf Pro search committee, the Board stated that search committee heads "Steve [Campbell] and John [Camus] have broad and diverse backgrounds in terms of business experience, country club exposure, and the golf industry." The letter to the membership went on to state that the committee will include "members of the Women's Golf Association, the Men's Golf Association, members of the Board of Directors, and Bartlett Country Club employees."

Members are encouraged to submit recommendations for the position to either the search committee or a Board member, and they are asked to direct any questions regarding the situation to a Board member.
